RBS: justice for tax-payer call

Unite joins protest outside Treasury
Martin Scanlon, Wednesday, August 12th, 2015

Unite, Move Your Money and campaign group Sum of Us held a short demonstration outside the Treasury and delivered a petition calling on George Osborne to halt the sale of publicly owned shares in the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Osborne’s initial sale of shares will cost the taxpayer £1bn. If this is replicated across the rest of the share sale then it will cost the taxpayer in the region of £14bn.

In the video below, listen to Unite national officer for finance Rob McGregor explain at the protest why the fire sale of RBS must be stopped.
