The Executive Council and the General Secretary of Unite the union stand in full solidarity with Svitzer tug boat workers in Teesside who are on strike for fair pay.
It disgraceful that Maersk Shipping, who own Svitzer, is looking at record profits yet seeks to impose a 0 per cent pay rise during a cost of living crisis.
Unite will stand behind you every step of the way until Maersk and its subsidiary Svitzer get serious and table a real pay offer.
