Unite members working in the ambulance service in England and Wales again took strike action today (February 6).

For ambulance workers in England, this is their third day of taking strike action, with previous strike days having taken place in December and January. Members in Wales took an additional day of action in January alongside the three days taken with their colleagues in England.

Unite general secretary Sharon Graham joined dozens of ambulance workers at a picket line in Cardiff this morning, where she spoke both to the media and to her members.

Unite ambulance workers taking strike action are determined in their fight both for fair pay and to save the NHS, which is now on its knees after years of austerity.
