'JDE can't say they're struggling'

Unite members at Jacob Douwe Egberts have voted for industrial action after the company has decided to go down the route of fire and rehire – where workers are forced to sign up to a new contract on less favourable terms and conditions or else they’ll be sacked.

Unite is campaigning to have this practice outlawed in the UK as it is in other European countries.
