Mental health is union business

Unite in the South East region are running a workshop this Friday (10 Oct) for reps to improve their understanding of mental health issues.  

The South East Education Team are inviting Unite reps to join them on World Mental Health Day for an interactive Zoom workshop running from 10am – 12pm.

Information on the workshop highlights that mental health is just as important as physical health, yet it is often overlooked, misunderstood, or stigmatised, particularly in the workplace.

Adding that, as Unite representatives, it’s vital that we understand the impact mental health can have on our members, colleagues, and ourselves.

The session is interactive and supportive, encouraging open discussion and shared experiences. Whether you’re new to this subject or already involved in mental health advocacy, your voice and input are welcome.
