Unite Community’s Christmas message on Universal Credit day of action

Every day on UniteLIVE during the festive period, we highlight our videos of the year. Today we feature a film promoting Unite Community’s Universal Credit online day of action earlier this month, where the union urged the government to maintain the £20 a week Universal Credit uplift.
As the it stands now the government is planning to scrap the increase from April 2021, which would condemn millions of families further into poverty.
