Unite AGS for manufacturing Steve Turner on Sheffield Forgemasters nationalisation

This week, it was announced that the beleaguered steel engineering firm Sheffield Forgemasters would be taken into public hands, after the Ministry of Defence (MoD) bought out the firm in a £2.6m deal.
The deal will secure the future of the defence-critical plant and hundreds of jobs, with the MoD pledging to invest £400m in the factory over the next decade.
Unite assistant general secretary Steve Turner hailed the news in an interview with BBC Radio Sheffield in the clip below:
