'Your vote is your power'

TODAY (Tuesday, April 16) by midnight is your last day to register to vote in time for May’s local elections, with the deadline to apply for a postal vote tomorrow (Wednesday, April 17) at 5pm.

Unite has spearheaded a campaign to educate members and the wider public about new voter ID laws, as well as everything else you need to know to vote ahead of the local elections in May and the general election later this year.

As part of the ‘Don’t lose your voice’ campaign, Unite has released two new short films featuring Unite members on the importance of voting – whether that’s in-person or by post. You can view the films below – and find out more about our campaign and how you can spread the word here.
